ASG General Assembly meeting
The ASG General Assembly meeting is Wednesday, February 15, 2016 Downtown Campus Auditorium from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm. Pizza will be available for participants.
Students of Color Conference (SOCC) — April 6 – 8, 2017 in Yakima, WA
Interested in learning more about your own social identity? Looking to understand more about someone else’s? No matter what your reason for wanting to attend, ASG has set aside funds to send a group of students to SOCC. (Space is limited) Travel and accommodations provided. Apply now. If you have questions you would like to ask in person, LeMont is at South Campus Tuesdays from 8 am – 3 pm and Central Campus on Thursdays during the same time frame.
Join a Tenure Committee
Participants are needed for tenure committees. Volunteers have 1 – 2 meetings each quarter and play a vital role in ensuring faculty are adequately trained to equip students for careers.

Reduced Cost Dental Clinic
Did you know that Bates has a dental clinic? Located at the Downtown Campus, the clinic is open to private-pay patients and patients with Apple Health Care. Services include: new patient exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns and extractions. All services are at a reduced fee. Open Monday – Thursday, 8 am – 3 pm. Call for an appointment 253-680-7310.
Phi Theta Kappa News
Have a 3.5+ GPA?
If you have earned 12 college level credits, with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or above, you may be eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa, the international honors society on campus. Keep your eyes on your email for an invitation!
Phi Theta Kappa meets every Friday (in February) in Downtown Campus Room C303 from 11:30 am – 12:15 pm. See you there.
