Email Senator Murray – Now

Senator Murray announced that she is soliciting personal stories from “current, former, and future students and their families about what they think Congress should tackle when it comes to higher education.” Her office will accept stories by email at through February 23, 2018.

DREAMers Scholarship – Now

Undocumented students can apply for a two-year $14,500 scholarship ($7,250 per year) for Washington State Community College Graduates. Students can use the scholarship at the University of Washington – Seattle Campus or Eastern Washington University. The application closes March 1, 2018. Apply here: TheDream.US Scholarship

Students of Color Conference – April 12-14, 2018 in Yakima, Washington

The goal of the conference is to provide a fun, educational experience that promotes leadership, cultural competency, and academic success.  It is also important to us that we provide a safe environment for each participant. To be eligible, students must be:

  • Maintaining a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA (transcript verified)
  • Be available to attend the entire conference from April 12-14, 2018 in Yakima, Washington

Have a 3.5+ GPA?

If you have earned 12 college level credits, with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or above, you may be eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa, the international honors society on campus.  Keep your eyes on your email for an invitation!
