Electronic ASG elections are tomorrow, May 30, 2018, 8 AM – 4 PM. Let your voice be heard and vote for the candidates you feel will best represent the students of Bates Technical College.
Meet your ASG Candidates:
Charlotte Furia – President
Cameron LaFreniere – South Campus Vice President
I am looking to take more steps in connecting employers with students. For instance I would like to see more data on student employment post graduation.
I am also interested in reaching out to employers to do tours or “Ride Along” if possible, or perhaps to have people come in and talk to students about work in their fields, the challenges and what they should be striving for.
If elected I will be first familiarizing myself with current steps already being taken in this regard, and discussing how we can improve it. I am willing to spearhead the effort myself, including legwork and reaching out to employers.
