Both Downtown and South Campus Stores will be closed beginning Monday, May 23. On Wednesday, June 1, the stores will reopen as part of Barnes & Noble College.

Workforce Education Services Funding Workshop – This Tuesday

Tournament Tuesday at Central Campus

Central Campus, Tuesdays @ 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Join our weekly tourney where all programs compete for bragging rights. This week we will host another Wii Bowling event so be sure to come and represent your program! Faculty and Staff are eligible for honorary rankings.

Reduced Cost Dental

Bates has a dental clinic located at the Downtown Campus. It is open to private pay patients and patients with Apple Health Care. Services include: new patient exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns and extractions. All services are at a reduced fee. Open Monday –Thursday, 8 am – 3 pm. Call for an appointment 253-680-7310.

Student Employment Opportunity

The Bates Tutoring Center is in need of hiring a student tutor who has good people skills and expertise in the college level math taught at Bates, as well as college level English and communications skills. This student tutor will be based at South Campus, and work up to 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.  If you meet these qualifications and are interested in being our South Campus student tutor, please send an e-mail to Inna Klassen  that includes your first and last name, program enrolled at Bates, how many quarters you still have left as a student at Bates, and your phone number.
