Tell Them We Are Rising Film Screening
ASG and KBTC are partnering to present a free preview screening of Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Black Colleges & Universities. The free screening for will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at the KBTC Studio. Free movie snacks will be provided with Bates Student ID. Please join us.
ASG General Assembly Meeting
The next ASG General Assembly meeting is Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in the Downtown Auditorium from 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM and is open to all students. Pizza is available for participants.
Students of Color Conference – April 12-14, 2018 in Yakima, Washington
The goal of the conference is to provide a fun, educational experience that promotes leadership, cultural competency, and academic success. It is also important to us that we provide a safe environment for each participant. To be eligible, students must be:
- Maintaining a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA (unofficial verified)
- Be available to attend the entire conference from April 12-14, 2018 in Yakima, Washington
